My Logo Concept Thought:
I'm creating a concept on a logo that I want to show to my audience that involves Christian Rap Music. I know this is not an music cover or an religious insult to show how much I love Christianity, in fact, I'm not Christian yet; but this is an Logo Concept and my idea is driven me to this one logo I have, and sadly it was this one. But this logo goes hand and hand to the Christian Music and Hip-Hop. I have listen to so many Christian music for a long time and to me it seems to have that same relation like hip-hop does, they keep singing the same story again and again. I like what I here and believe me, I love music. Some others like Lecrae and Trip Lee Sermon or know Christian rappers and Hillsong and Casting Crowns are well known as group singers; are casting a idea that can play out that God is too real and hope is a struggle, (realistically it is) but I want to hear something out of the ordinary of the real truth on the streets and hardship to reach Christianity. So my logo is that idea of giving my audience a sense of curiosity and wonder of how this Christian symbol or logo can relate to other Christian logo in a music industry. I purposely made the Christian Music word into a abbreviated logo 'CM' and the 'RAP' word easily noticeable in the middle of 'CM.' To catch one's eyes to glimpse at others rap music and my rap music. They will see the word 'RAP' and three symbols around the word; the 'CM' and the cross that is balancing the concept logo. With a slanted cross on the bottom of the logo to balance the logo, its purpose is to attract Christian audience and the 'RAP' word captures the rap audience. I question myself that whether if I should put the cross there or not because in fact of my audiences curiosity, the 'CM' symbol just can't get enough attraction with out the cross symbol. Just the thought of it makes me feel better to put the cross in to my concept because I do want to attract Christian audience to feel that my logo can be appealing, knowing that I have something to offer - and that is to be creative and simple but get the creative notion that rap music does need to change its concept toward this society and rap music can just have the same respect as well as Christian music. Therefore, my audience is Christians and Rappers all the nations and the logo is its self of its own meaning, that can stand close to on goers at churches.
You're supposed to add the sketches for your concept on here rather than on a post unless its your finalized digital sketches. But a thumbs up for explaining what you were trying to do/get for your concept. If only you had included the images to make it easier.
